From a neglected panorama and the poetics of sawing.
31 March - 23 April

RAKE Visningsrom presents the work: From a neglected panorama and the poetics of sawing by Enrique Roura, a work that explores the relationship between the exterior and the interior, the one-self and the non-self- a metaphor for permeability between the private and the public.
A site-specific intervention will utilize the location as the meaning and the medium, finding the characteristics and qualities of where we are standing. Conceived as a whole, the intervention will orchestrate different elements: of live communication, observation, sound, and a publication made in collaboration with SMØR PRESS, an independent and small publishing house based in Trondheim.

Enrique Roura (Mexico City, 1988) studied a bachelor in Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and took his MFA at the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art (NTNU). His trans-disciplinary practice navigates a course between art, architecture and design. Pursuing the ideas of place, space and culture as the core and basis for his work.
